Payment & Insurance
I’m an in-network provider for Blue Cross Blue Shield and Medicare. If you do not have BCBS or Medicare, it’s likely that you will receive some reimbursement for your sessions—often an amount similar to a co-pay for an in-network provider. I can provide you with the necessary documents to submit to your insurance provider for reimbursement.
If I am not in network with your insurance, if you don’t have insurance, or if you you have insurance and choose not to use it for services I provide, I will provide you with a Good Faith Estimate, in accordance with the No Surprises Act.
Because rates and reimbursement can vary across plans, I encourage you to ask your insurance provider directly about the psychotherapy benefits for your specific plan. Please note that some BCBS plans contract with a different insurance provider for mental health benefits. If this is the case, I may be considered an out-of-network provider for you.
I am happy to talk with you and address any questions you have about insurance and payment.
